PROTEUS ANGINUS (Bronislav Fajon)
Proteus Anguinus is amphibian that is 30 centimetres long. It lives in watered caves in Slovenia. It's the only real European amphibian. It's a living fossil. People have researched it for 200 years, but we still don't know everything about Proteus Anguinus

SOČA TROUT (Matjaž Učakar)
The Soča trout is a fish that lives in Slovenia, Croatia, Italy, Montenegro, Albania. In Slovenia the Soča trout lives in the Soča river. It is about 60 centimetres long, but it can be 140 centimetres long too. It can weighs 24 kg.

WHITE STORK (Jurij Mikuletič)
White stork (Ciconia ciconia) is big bird. Their nests can be 2 metres big. In the autumn they fly to Africa and come back in spring.

The Lesser Kestrel is undoubtedly one of the most endangered bird species in Slovenia. The Lesser Kestrel usually nests in churches and other buildings in the countryside, and migrates in the autumn.

CHAMOMILE (Dr. Mitja Kaligarič)
The name Chamomile usually refers to the German or Wild chamomile, sometimes also called Sweet False Chamomile it is also used as a common name for many similar and related species. Apart from the differences that can only be seen under a magnifying glass, the German or Wild Chamomile is distinguished from other species by its pleasant fragrance and curative effect.
