In 1949 this mountain group was proclaim for regional park and in 1981 is part of Triglav national park. This mountain group consists of Oltar, Velika Martuljška Ponca, Dovški križ, Mala Martuljška Ponca, Široka peč, Špik, Kukova špica, Škrnatarica, Frdamane police, Vrh nad Rudo, Rušica, Rigljica, Na pečeh.
